Photoblog – with love, from Kausani

Enjoying the sunset like it’s no big deal

These are pictures from a little town in Uttarakhand called Kausani. It is famous for its stunning view of the snow clad Himalayan peaks.

We were fortunate enough to escape Delhi pollution for a few days and visit the place along with some neighboring areas like Sattal and Bhimtal which are stunning as well.

  1. Oh my god I have been to this place and I absolutely love it! Like its so pretty, and the mountain views are absolutely stunning! I remember reading Anne of Green Gables with the view of those mountains, lol- the reader in me could not resist the opportunity of having such a beautiful view while reading

  2. The photos are beautiful – but i know from experience that the photos narrow the view that the human eye can take in. I’m sure that as wonderful the pictures, the real experience is so much better!! My favorites are the first photo with the monkey and the last with the close up of the flowering plant!!

    • Absolutely correct. This place is so magnificent that no amount of photography or videography can do justice. There is so much grandeur of the Himalayas and then there is so much flora and fauna to capture.
